The ResearchOps Review was founded in May 2025 by Kate Towsey, a leading voice in research operations and the author of Research That Scales. Our mission is to advance ResearchOps through rigorous, expertly edited content that sets standards for the profession and equips practitioners to build world-class research operations. That mission shapes what we publish, how we edit, and what we choose not to publish, too.
We publish one feature article every two weeks. In addition to our regular publishing cadence, we produce several larger productions each year, ranging from industry-defining resources to limited-series podcasts. These productions often involve contributors and guests from across the globe and are designed to advance the profession through learning and conversation.
The ResearchOps Review is intentional about being an international publication that represents a diversity of voices—our founder was raised in Southern Africa and has lived in India, the United Kingdom, and now Australia. We’re not there yet, but diversity is core to our strategy.
Thanks to our sponsors, we’re able to offer the publication for free.
